Male quick disconnect for 12–10 AWG stranded copper wire with a 0.250" tab. Its adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve seals around the wire insulation when heated, keeping moisture, salt and road spray away from the crimp. Rated 600V, -55°C to 125°C.
Use it for: higher-current leads to heaters, compressors, pumps, motors and accessory feeds on boats, trailers, trucks and outdoor equipment, and anywhere a connection sees water or washdown. 0.250" is the most common tab size — used on switches, relays, speakers, appliances and automotive components.
Getting the right size: match the barrel to the wire gauge and the tab to the receptacle it plugs into. It mates with a 0.250" female disconnect, such as our Heat Shrink Female Disconnect 12-10GA 0.250". Other wire gauges: 22–18 AWG · 16–14 AWG. Same size, different construction: high temp (900°F), nylon fully insulated, heat shrink fully insulated (waterproof), non-insulated, vinyl, nylon.

• Marine Electrical Systems - Connect wiring in boats where saltwater exposure requires waterproof connections that prevent corrosion while maintaining quick-disconnect or permanent termination capability.
• Outdoor & Underground Installations - Wire landscape lighting, irrigation systems, and outdoor equipment where moisture, soil chemicals, and weather exposure demand hermetically sealed connections for long-term reliability.
• Automotive Underhood & Exterior Wiring - Connect sensors, relays, lighting, and accessories in engine compartments and exposed locations where heat, oil, moisture, and vibration require waterproof protection beyond standard vinyl or nylon terminals.
• Trailer & RV Exterior Systems - Wire running lights, brake lights, and exterior accessories exposed to road spray, weather, and constant flexing where waterproof connections prevent corrosion and electrical failures.
