On-Off SPST marine toggle switch with all-brass construction — brass body and terminals with copper rivets for conductivity. It latches ON or OFF and stays where you put it. Rated 20A @ 12V DC. Designed for marine use and other harsh environments.
Use it for: 12V DC circuits on boats and watercraft — lights, pumps, fans and accessories — and other harsh or damp locations.
How it is wired: SPST (single pole, single throw): one circuit, switched on or off. Connect with ring terminals or spade terminals under the screws. It mounts on a 7/16"-28 threaded stem (7/16" diameter x 3/8" long) — note this is smaller than the common 1/2" toggle hole — and comes with a nickel-plated knurled nut and brass back-up nut. Always check that the rating covers your load, and fuse the circuit to protect the wire.
Same action and circuit in other styles: On-Off SPST Medium Duty Toggle with Inlaid Screw Terminals, On-Off SPST Heavy Duty Toggle with Blade Terminals, On-Off SPST Marine Plastic Duckbill Toggle with Blade Terminals, On-Off SPST Red Illuminated Duckbill Marine Toggle with Blade Terminals.
