Block spade terminal for 12–10 AWG stranded copper wire on a #10 screw or stud. The straight fork slides under a screw or stud without removing it completely. It is nickel-plated steel with no insulation, rated 600V and up to 900°F (482°C) for connections too hot for copper and plastic.
Use it for: screw and terminal-block connections on heating elements, thermostats, limit switches and terminal blocks in ovens, furnaces, kilns and commercial kitchen equipment, where vinyl- or nylon-insulated terminals would melt. Add high-temperature sleeving wherever the bare metal could touch other terminals or the chassis.
Getting the right size: match the barrel to the wire gauge and the fork to your screw or stud. Other wire gauges: 22–18 AWG · 16–14 AWG.
