Butt connector for joining two 22–18 AWG stranded copper wires end to end. Its adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve seals around the wire insulation when heated, keeping moisture, salt and road spray away from the crimp. Rated 600V, -55°C to 125°C.

Use it for: repairing or extending sensor, signal and LED wiring on boats, trailers, trucks and outdoor equipment, and anywhere a connection sees water or washdown.

Getting the right size: match the barrel to the wire gauge. Same heat shrink (waterproof) butt connector for other gauges: 16–14 AWG · 12–10 AWG. Same size, different construction: high temp (900°F), vinyl, non-insulated, nylon.
