Single wall heat shrink tubing is 2:1 flame-retardant polyolefin that shrinks to half its supplied diameter to insulate, protect and color-code wire, splices and terminals. We stock 10 sizes from 1/16" to 1-1/2" in black, red, blue, clear and white, in 6 in and 4 ft lengths, with bulk spools on most black sizes. UL Listed and CSA certified; rated -55°C to 125°C.
Pick a size about 20–30% larger than the widest thing the tube must slide over, and check that its recovered size is smaller than the wire it must grip.

Need every size, plus dual wall? See the heat shrink tubing size chart.
Single wall insulates but does not seal out water. For splices, terminals and lugs that can get wet, use dual wall adhesive-lined heat shrink (3:1), which seals as it shrinks. For small-gauge splices, heat shrink butt connectors have the sleeve built in.
The tube shrinks to half its supplied diameter: 1/4" tubing recovers to 1/8".
No. It insulates and protects, but water can wick in at the ends. Use dual wall for a sealed joint.
Yes. Black single wall comes on bulk spools in most sizes, from 660 ft on the smallest sizes down to 82 ft on 1-1/2".
